The Dentsville Good Cheer Club sponsored a barn party at the Sandhill Experimental Station (Now Clemson Extension) on Friday night December 13, 1940 from 8-10 PM. Henry Sudam and Orchestra will perform. J.D. Elders will act as "Caller" (Directing Activities) for the duration of the party.
Good Cheer Clubs were part of a community outreach program that was established to help people in need during the holiday season. The Good Cheer Fund traditionally began the Sunday after Thanksgiving and would run through Christmas Day.
Louie W. Conder serves as the club president. Those working with Mr. Conder are Mrs. E.B. Rabon, Mrs. H.F. Stevenson, Miss. Dorothy Wheeler, and Miss. Jo Ann Crouch.
The concessions committee includes Mrs. L.W. Conder, Mrs. Davis Eleazer, and Mrs. R.H. Miller.
Those on the ticket committee include Davis Eleazer, E.B. Rabon, and S.L. Cathcart.
