Back in the 1920's it was a tradition to have a party for the high school graduating Seniors. On a Friday Night May 31, 1929 this tradition continued at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Tucker. A party was given for the three seniors for the 1929 Dentsville High Class. The music was furnished by the Pacific String Band and games were played and first prize was won by William Roberts. The "Booby" prize was won by L.W. Smith, the "booby" prize was usually given in recognition of a terrible performance or last-place finish. There were plenty of refreshments and the home was decorated in the class colors of pink and green.
