At approximately 7:30 Sunday night December 31, 1933 there was a collision of two vehicles on Two Notch Road in Dentsville. One vehicle was driven by Said Albert and the other vehicle was driven by Miss Ethel Weir.
Mr. Albert who was 29 years old was killed instantly when his vehicle overturned when he collided with Miss Weir's vehicle, the passenger in Albert's vehicle Miss Gretchen Shull of Dentsville suffered minor injuries. Miss Weir and her passenger Miss Adair were uninjured even though their vehicle hit an embankment.
Mr. Albert worked as a salesman in Columbia and resided at 1830 Marion Street. Corner John A. Sargeant was investigating the accident and was being assisted by Sheriff T. Alex Heise, A.R. Ward who was Chief of the Highway Dept. Enforcement Division, Patrolmen Lt. J.D. Townsend, Harry T. Sloan, G.V. Felder, and Buck Lawson.
After holding an inquest on January 5, 1934 the investigation concluded that No Blame could be Established.
