The Death of James Tucker

On October 2, 1929, James Walter Tucker of Dentsville died in his home. The 49-year-old textile operator had been employed by the Pacific mills for 28 years and was a member of the Woodmen of the World, Junior order and Masonic order. He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary C. Tucker; five daughters, Eva Tucker, Ruth Tucker, Emma Tucker, Vernelle Tucker, and Avis Tucker; and three sons, Vernon Tucker, Lebron Tucker, and Charles Tucker, all of Dentsville. He is buried at Rehoboth United Methodist Church.
